Pros
I’ve seen Contour go from being a stable, promising company to one of the most toxic and uncertain workplaces out there. Before and right after COVID, things were good — the company was growing, teams were motivated, and employees actually felt valued. But everything started going downhill fast after 2024.
There were zero increments in 2024, and now it’s almost the end of 2025 with still no signs of any raises or financial recognition. Instead, the company has gone through multiple rounds of layoffs this year — and they’re still letting people go. No one feels secure, and job stability has hit rock bottom.
Contour basically runs as a hiring agency for their parent company’s clients, not as an independent organization with its own vision. Since December 2024, they’ve been losing major projects and business to internal competitors, and it’s showing — the pressure, the disorganization, and the false promises.
The worst part? Even if you perform well, you get nothing in return. No appreciation, no increment, nothing. But if you raise your voice or question management, you’re suddenly put on a PIP — their polite way of saying ‘we can’t afford you anymore.’
It’s sad to see a company that once had so much potential become a place where employees stay only out of fear or lack of options. Contour desperately needs to rebuild its culture, leadership trust, and most importantly — fairness.
