Pros

At this point, the only pro is the employees on the ground level. That's the only reason any of us have continued to tolerate this toxic environment. Transparently, the money has become not worth it.

Cons

Commit is like all the other money hungry partner firms just with flashy lululemon swag (that no one actually cares about), despite the emphasis on surface-level perks that the CEO brags about - it does little to offset deeper issues. The expectations around hours are troubling, particularly for junior consultants. Over the past year, projects have been consistently miss scoped as a result of major misalignment from specifically the sales team to the delivery team. That disconnect pushes a significant amount of unplanned work and client back lash onto PMs, PALs, and consultants. So not only is it frustrating you end up doing HOURS of free work because you can’t bill for the company's lack of alignment. Leadership’s constant push to “set the standard” has come at a real cost. Many strong, capable consultants are burning out, often at the expense of their own health and well-being. Turnover right now is alarmingly high, yet there is little transparency or honest discussion about why people are leaving. In just the last few months, several highly respected consultants have exited. These were individuals who advocated not only for themselves, but for their peers and for healthier ways of working. Culturally, there has been a noticeable shift. What once felt like a quality over quantity, consultant-driven, collaborative environment now increasingly mirrors an Ivy League student-athlete, frat-house dynamic that leaves many people feeling excluded and unheard. The reason for posting this is simple: the same stories surface repeatedly across teams and levels time and time again. That story point blank is - Burnout. Not being listened to. Being gaslit when raising valid concerns. Pay discrepancies. A culture of toxic positivity that dismisses real issues instead of addressing them. All dressed up as "Grit." At this point, it has become impossible for me to stay and watch my peers continue cycling through the same patterns of overwork, false promises, and misaligned vision without speaking up. If this review helps even one person feel validated or realize they are not imagining these problems, then it’s worth sharing. The issues are real, and they are systemic.

Pros

Analysts who want to become consultants, consultants who want to become senior consultants, senior consultants who want to become architects, and architects who aren't directors, managers, leaders, etc. are the real drivers of this company.

Cons

Internally, Commit abruptly switched from becoming consultant-first to growth-first across 2024 and 2025 while still projecting an obsession with quality externally. However, the disconnect was very unmotivating for longer-term employees and the increased sales volume is burning good people out. Near the end of 2025, the hours expectations for junior resources dramatically increased, and I am worried it is an attempt to cover margins. Also, there's a lack of support for junior resources because the people who actually know Workday are too busy to help or can't consistently help in a way that doesn't conflict with utilization metrics that drive most consultant bonuses. I feel like the only people who truly enjoy their day to day are higher-up sales, marketing, and delivery employees who don't bill. As I've spoken to more former teammates who've left, I've learned more stories of Commit dangling the carrot of what they wanted the most to extract the most work out of them, only to move the goalposts. Think promises to get people certified in new functional areas or attempts to re-define their position in a way to make it less billable but still productive for Commit. The culture of achievement has also become too positive and cultish, rubbing introverts and consistent, reliable, yet quiet consultants the wrong way. Commit also significantly decreased in diversity across my tenure.

Smart and diverse team obsessed with quality; engaging online presence

Cons

High variability in workload. The season determines whether I have nothing to do or everything to do.
