Pros

The only thing that I liked about working at Cognitive Botics is its product and the technologies that are being used in the product and some of the team members who were really supportive in the development and QA team.

Cons

I had to leave the company in just 6 months because of an extremely toxic work culture. Cognitive Botics really proved to be one of those startups that have a highly toxic culture due to the upper management. Even after informing multiple times about the issues with the work culture and ill-defined roles and responsibilities, there was no step taken for it. Not even by the head of HR. A few people made it their responsibility to meddle in other's work, without respecting any workplace boundaries. There was no professionalism among people and a high culture of badmouthing people behind their backs. At least 4-5 times a month, we were told by the CTO that he would fire us and bring in new "good" talent. Upon confronting all of this with them including the HR, I was told that "this is how the startup works" when the culture became so toxic that it was no longer about a startup or a MNC.

Pros

Truly a marvel of innovation. Everything is AI—slides, reports, even basic thinking. Soon, perhaps, AI will tell you how to sip water. A visionary approach indeed. The office is equipped with PS5, table tennis, and snooker—symbols of balance, creativity, and courage. One may admire them safely from a distance. Employees are trained to sit with unwavering discipline for 8 hours. Work may or may not exist, but appearances are spectacular. Investors would be proud. You will grow mentally and emotionally. After this place, life outside feels effortless, almost boring. Communication is powerful—your words travel faster than intended, often reinterpreted with extra “flavor.” Micro-management is impressive. Even restroom trips are noted—attention to detail is world-class. Praise is generous, immediate, and public. Within 30 minutes, a different story may circulate elsewhere, adding a hint of suspense to every workday. Final Note: I do not tell anyone not to join, for each must choose their own path. But if you hold another offer, consider it. This place is less about work, more about character building, patience, and endurance. And if you wish to emerge: Mentally stronger Emotionally resilient With a clear understanding of human theater …then welcome. Survive here once, and every office in the world will feel like a vacation.

Cons

Talent is fleeting. The best often leave—or are politely encouraged to explore new horizons. Work is often created, shaped, and presented with great care. Substance is secondary to presentation. Questions are allowed once. A second inquiry, however, makes you vanish from floor. Leadership is legendary—mentioned often, but rarely seen in action. Policies are flexible, particularly for those already in favor. Recognition and growth follow alignment, not merit. Hiring and firing maintain constant novelty. Stability is overrated. Visitors in suits come daily, witness demonstrations, and vanish like the wind. Public praise, private reinterpretation, and subtle humiliation are standard elements of this rich workplace drama.

Pros

Pros- Oh, absolutely nothing, except the joy of being assigned to tasks completely unrelated to your interests or expertise. A truly inspiring use of talent.

Cons

The downsides? Well, just the thrill of receiving a barely noticeable increment after a full year of dedication—despite consistently going above and beyond, often putting in extra hours. As for onboarding, why ease into a role when you can dive headfirst with zero context? And let’s not forget the cherry on top: Employee activity monitoring software. Because nothing says 'we trust our team' like tracking every click and keystroke. Truly empowering.
