Pros

- Fun, well-bonded team despite the fully remote setup! I get to work with talented people from all over the world - Fast paced with lots of exciting projects - Employees are trusted to lead and own initiatives - Great product and branding that customers love

Cons

- Sometimes difficult to schedule meetings across timezones, but that's typical with all global teams - Things can be a little disorganised, but that's also typical at early-stage startups

A warm Work-From-Anywhere Startup

Pros

A very welcoming and warm company. The management put a big effort on turning this company into a family, or at least into a fun workplace. For myself, it feels like doing a project with my college friends, where you do serious work but have fun and play games together as well. Another big plus is, it is a fully remote work-from-anywhere company. They have employees working from South East Asia, Europe, US, and Africa. As long there are no issue in communication and you always get the jobs done, you're free to travel or stay anywhere.

Cons

It's a small company, so most of the things for development hasn't been set up properly yet. Some could find this as a learning opportunity, but some might want to avoid it. Also with the startup culture, employers are expected to learn autonomously; The team don't have much capacity for closely mentor the new joiners. They still responsive with your question though, as long it's not like holding hands and teach you like an internship.

Pros

- Flexible working hours: As we work asynchronously, you get to set your own work hours and take time off whenever you need to. - Opportunity to work on the projects you wish to lead and how you want to shape your career. - Benefits are substantial enough to keep people motivated and belonged. A lot of little things make up a good company culture (not just benefits, but behaviour as well) and it's not easy to get it right, which brings me to my next point. - Great company culture. It is always refreshing to have a CEO that genuinely cares about not just his company growth, but the growth of its people. In the 3-4 months that I'm here, I've felt empowered and actually have the opportunity to make an impact in the work that I choose to lead, and it's mostly because of the people in the team.

Cons

- Depending on the projects you lead, work life balance is questionable
