Nervous times are ahead for all staff

Many great people with excellent ideas, unfortunately many of them are feeling downtrodden due to how the senior management team operate.

Cons

The senior management team are so full of themselves they fail to realise just what a negative affect it is having on all the other staff. The introduction to the new development regime means that now everybody in project must be able to develop and test all their own work, PM's included. There is no real separation of roles any more. This is a backwards step to where we were last year when we still had defined development teams and separate test teams and allowed for proper test cycles to take place. Many staff are too frightened to talk out about this as they fear that they too could become a victim of the latest Cashfac craze..... redundancies. 5 staff were recently let go as they did not fit in with the must be able to do everything ethos.....good luck to those 5 as I think in many ways they were the lucky ones. If this route of work continues then I can see more staff leaving as moral is now at rock bottom.

Where to start....? Atrocious management, kind of behaviour and competence that would normally get someone fired will earn them a promotion in cashfac Many of the """managers""" don't even have university degrees, they just blagged their way up Homophobia, racism, bullying, shouting & swearing, tantrums Stone-age technology No proper procedures or processes but not agile either - just a big old mess Lies, lies, lies everywhere - managers always looking for a fall guy in order to save themselves Recently laid off a number of people in very unprofessional manner - more to come, as the company is in dire straits due to foolish decisions by upper management Contracts being lost left and right, stuck in a downward spiral All the best employees leave (for obvious reasons) leaving the dregs behind I give this place another 2 years at most before everything goes irreversibly belly up Stay away, and don't believe all the positive reviews on this site - they are fake, written by management (many of us were asked to write one but I just can't do it)

Very less to say that Free cereals/fruits but be prepared for employees swearing, shouting and making inappropriate remarks about you and other colleagues in front of other people. There is no professional atmosphere. There are managers who are very cold with some staff (don't know why- depending on mood), no care for the team members. Remarks are made about people's race, gender, sexual orientation etc in front of many people. There are a few policies for the name sake only. So much is changing in this company due to their poor performance that everybody's job is in danger. They lost many people this year. Therefore, I would advice you to completely avoid this company.

Cons

Poor management, Manager's don't use their heads and rely on their bosses what to say to their staff. No management skills, actually they are not managers (don't know how to talk to people and how to manage your team).
