Pros

Nothing that makes up for cons

Cons

Discriminatory upper management (specifically against a store having "too many of a certain race"), gossip and drama take precedent over managers, hard work unrecognized, innovation discouraged, and pushed to circumvent laws and procedures for higher numbers, no room for advancement (if you're liked or have history with the decision maker then you're good).

Pros

-Good work environment -Ability to do what I want in my store as a manager -Pay decent

Cons

-High expectations that seem to never be achievable (i.e targets) With my store making over double in revenue in the first quarter of 2013, we still did not hit target. This is something they do purposely to don't pay bonus -Lack of training!!! (they do not train you properly, they will throw you into a store and hope for the best, and if you don't achieve the targets set, they will question you and make you do "action plans". -Cash money will promise certain things to be done in the company (can't say for private reasons) and never actually do them... -Follow up! Cash Money never follows up with management or employees. I asked numerous times in emails and phone calls to my District manager in training and also district manager for information on one of my employees MIT programs (Manager in training) they never followed up with my employee or myself about this. -Core values. Company has core values, 6 of them in fact that they want you to memorize and in fact upper management doesn't even know them themselves! I once got caught on not knowing my core values, and the regional director was really upset with me and sat there talking for 10 minutes about how important they are to know, when 1 month earlier she didn't even know them off by heart. It wasn't for the fact that I didn't know them, but instead for the fact that I didn't have each one memorized. I still lived by them each and everyday. -When let go by my manager, I was never given any reason why I was let go. They simply said they didn't have to give me a reason and then handed over me "the letter", which stated hand delivered without prejudice. This was not fair at all, since I doubled the stores revenue, and no one in Calgary had numbers like we did. I pushed incredibly hard each and everyday to achieve results. Everyone liked me in the company too, and were shocked. -After I left, my one employee found out and she also gave her notice. Cash Money then offered her an assistant manager position to try and keep her. I've heard many stories from employees about things like this happening.

Pros

Lots of staff on frontline and you get to sit down. They buy lunch and the DM host booze parties. lots of bribes.(at least in Barrie)

Cons

Targets to force people to take their max even if they cannot afford it. Coached to lie to clients. Management (DM's & Higher) are to good for the frontline. They talk the talk but say they are not to walk the walk - It isn't their job. They preach Integrity but no one in management practises this. We are all laughing at you, especially when we are drunk from your expensed booze.
