Pros

- Get to work with talented across Asia - Great bosses (my team only) - No drama in the team as they promised during the interview

Cons

- Even people in the regional team are great but people in the Thailand office are not really providing the same vibes. There are people who do not really care if you need to concentrate when you're at your desk. They'll play the music and talk loudly without the awareness or cortsey.

Toxic workplace

Pros

If you are in need of cash, this is the place to go if you don't really care about the toxic management. People on the ground are generally all very nice and helpful minus the management.

Cons

1. They are literally unappreciative of you. 2. They don't care about your well-being. 3. They don't care about your career progression. 4. Can't take jokes but they can joke about you/your name/your parents. 5. Keep harping on the fact that you are becoming a lifestyle creep if you make big purchases using your own blood sweat and tears. 6. Do take note that if your manager do not have any good impression of you, good luck. You will always be on their radar. Fake it till you make it.

Pros

The people are great, who are supportive and willing to help one another. The team is also close knitted.

Cons

The job security is not good with many rounds of retrenchment over the last couple of months. Direction of work/project changes frequently. Employee’s welfare is not good, it seems like the work isn’t appreciated.

Pros

The department is very bonded and supportive, and members have various technical skills and are willing to share. Good work life balance for the department

Cons

For a very long time, the head of department has been very pushy and can get unreasonable. The politics among the management causes the teams (under the department) unable to progress fast. btw, the department is collapsing with all the good people leaving. The increments are v poor.

Pros

The environment is really great, good people, good values, and good pay.

Cons

The management, particularly HR, demonstrates a lack of integrity and quality in their work, often prioritizing appearances over substance. Significant bias and racism are evident at the top levels. Performance and adherence to principles are secondary to gaining approval from leadership. I have personally experienced and observed a distinct racial bias, where Chinese employees receive preferential treatment over their Malay and Indian counterparts. When seeking assistance, HR Business Partners have offered unconstructive advice, suggesting subservience. Given these deep-seated issues, this company is not conducive to a sustainable and equitable career path.

Good office location with direct linked bridge from lrt station

The People & Culture department, specifically at the leadership level, functions purely as a shield for management rather than a support system for employees. There is a recurring pattern of "quiet firing"; if an employee raises a concern, they will be "labeled" as underperforming and pressured to "voluntarily resign" to avoid severance or formal termination processes. Furthermore, serious behavioral issues—such as superior screaming at staff in meetings—are documented but never addressed. Feedback is a one-way street here.

No advantages to working at this place.

Cons

Negative management, a country head and managers with high opinion of themselves. Enjoys putting others down and lacks respect for people. Yelling and shouting vulgarities at staff in public is a common occurrence in the company. Inexperienced managers with inflated egos, and an abundance of cliques and office politics.

1) Colleagues with the all in this together mindset

Cons

1) Horrible management, no future planning 2) Management direction just going in circles, they're not confident in using AI to make breakthroughs into the market 3) No WLB, work like cow 4) Salary way lower than what competitors offer (package is not attractive at all) 5) No DEI, they rarely hire Indians and Malays 6) Management plants "secret moles" everywhere, it's a tattle tale to the upper management everytime and those people are favoured instead of the real hardworking/ground workers
