Making a positive impact on the lives of high school students in terms of their career planning and higher education
Cons
Unhelpful counselors that are unprofessional in some high school sites. Teachers and counselors have "clicks" and work against you if you are trying to work with students in pulling them out of their classes. Very unprofessional management at the main Cal-Soap office in terms of dealing with conflict. Dysfunctional management openly argues with other employees about policies and procedures. Management seems more concerned with keeping government funds for their own long-term securement of their own employment rather than educating student employees and making effective contacts with high school students.
