Pros

The biggest pro is the people! We are like one big crazy, happy family where colleagues are actually become friends. I've worked in recruitment for many years and a lot of recruiters are up themselves, but at CSG Australia I can honestly say there inst one person who I don't like. everyone is down to earth, genuine and always willing to help and support others. Everyone knows you have to work hard in recruitment and the rewards/ perks you get make it more worthwhile. CSG Australia are constantly rewarding us for our hard work + The earning potential is one of the best I've seen, enabling you to have a better lifestyle + Opportunity to move overseas offices UK, MENA, APAC + All visa costs and agents cost are covered + A senior management team that don't beat you over the head with a stick + Not one KPI is set!!! + Free Fruit delivered twice a week + Free beer delivered every Friday + Early finishes, Flexible working, option to work from home when needed + Incentives such as Golf Days, Melbourne cups, Holiday to Fiji, Boat parties, Christmas in July, Work nights out, Summer Hours, team bonding activities and more + Top Billers lunch, Flight Vouchers, Bottles on Campaigne and more + The business personally bought me 2 tickets to climb the Sydney Bridge for having a really strong period + Ping pong, Play station, PacMan, Fifa + Free Tea, Coffee, Milk, Butter, Sweets, Treats

Cons

In the Australian office, training is done on a team by team basis and while this is helpful, there is no centralised training like there is in the UK office. I feel it would be an advantage if the UK training model could be adapted to Australian office.

Pros

Having worked at CSG for over 7 years (a lifetime in recruitment terms) there are a number of reasons I have never been tempted away elsewhere but one of the strongest reasons is the way the company operates and the responsibility the business gives to manager their own markets. We operate with very few KPI's but with a great training and development team that are constantly looking for ways to help. We get significant autonomy in the markets we choose to develop, how we go about working in that market and as long as you are delivering the results you should be, the company will let you work as you please. By being flexible as to how people operate, we not only get the best out of people but also have a great group of senior consultants and managers who all work very differently that can support and help out others when needed. We have a number of international offices and we are encouraged to take opportunities in those locations. I myself recently relocated to our Sydney office with the full support of CSG to continue developing my market.

Cons

For me having worked at a few other recruitment businesses I know how lucky we are with the way the company works so I would really struggle to find anything. If anything people who require too much hand holding or an overly structured and KIP'ed environment might not find it the right fit.
