Pros

honestly nothing to even consider working here again

Cons

Complete and utter dysfunction fueled by lead Managers with zero people skills and/or business knowledge. Atmosphere is depressing where it should be a fun place. Laid off 100% of staff when relocated from Fla. To Washington. People are disposable if they are not top management.

Sorry to hear about your experiences while working the Cruise Lines International Association. We have since relocated our offices from Ft. Lauderdale Florida to downtown Washington, DC and have new leadership, including a new CEO & President. The Association has certainly undergone some transition in the last year, but are in a much better place and looking forward to the future.

Pros

Good benefits, some good people,

Cons

Poor management, no opportunities for advancement, lots of favoritism. My boss was a bully and shouldn't work with people!

Pros

Excellent benefits, some great co-workers. The Fort Lauderdale office is closed, and now CLIA is based out of Washington, DC.

Cons

One of the most dysfunctional places I've worked. Favoritism was rampant, each manager had their own set of rules so there was no consistency regarding OT pay or comp time. Very small organization with little to no room for professional growth.
