Pros

Not obvious pros of woking for this company

Cons

The subsidiary of the CLH Group in the UK has been undergoing a huge deal of change and the employees struggle to cope with what's going on. The company's strategy lacks of clear direction which creates a lot of uncertainty. The CEO's negative attitude and the frictions within the management team contribute to create a terrible atmosphere.

Pros

Great pension and holiday. Great people (below managerial level).

Cons

CEO likes to micro manage which creates a difficult culture and against company values. High turnover in staff at head office proves this. Progression not commended nor rewarded correctly. Inexperienced parent company who does not show signs of improvement. Definitely does not behave like a global company rather a really big Spanish company. Huge blame culture within organisation, starting from the top. Lots of manager training sessions but now follow up to see if managers implement what they learn. Company does not encourage team building and strengthening sessions enough.

Pros

No positives brought by CLH as a company, all pro’s related to the job were there before CLH was formed, and will remain to be there long after they’ve gone

Cons

Poor culture, negative management from the top, no career prospects, full of empire builders who are constantly standing on other people’s shoulders to try and get ahead. Hard work isn’t rewarded, and you’re expected to do more for the company outside of work time - with no extra pay. The management are very good at making things fit the way they want them to, hiding behind legislation, values, and excuses when something doesn’t benefit them directly despite what impact it may have on the workforce as a whole
