Pros

You’ll work with some of the most genuine and engaging people here. They’re smart not only in their respective fields, but also in other areas outside of work — and that diversity of thought is both energizing to work with and contributes to the company’s success. The product is solid and evolving in exciting directions as well, and the combination of SaaS and hardware make for interesting opportunities.

Cons

- Management seems overwhelmed — too many priorities means things don’t get done, and communication about those priorities is muddled so there seems to be lots of wasted effort on projects. - There’s been a fairly high amount of involuntary turnover not related to economic concerns. This begs the question: are the wrong people being hired, or are people not being supported with tools/resources they need to succeed? In addition, there seem to be terminations for very little cause, so your colleagues are here today gone the next, which has had a significant negative impact on company culture.

To address your concerns: Although we are scaling and we’ve got a lot of moving parts, our leaders have clear objectives and do their best to focus their time where it is most needed. In terms of involuntary turnover, we do our best to hire the right talent for our organization and equip them with the tools and resources to succeed in their role. If we run into a situation where an employee is struggling in their role due to performance, we ensure that we’re supporting the employee, setting clear expectations, and giving them the opportunity to improve. We take parting ways with employees very seriously so there we take all factors and perspectives into consideration before making decisions about someone’s employment. Our hope is that everyone on the team succeeds so we do everything we can to enable that.

Pros

Few good apples on a somewhat rotten tree. Revolutionizing product suite.

Cons

Sales org is unorganized, unfair, and in shambles to be quite frank. Folks are rewarded on tenure and not success, and those who have been in seat longer are put on a pedestal. The gatekeeping of accounts/installers/and contacts is out of hand. It's full of men and the Sales Director VPs (except 2) don't do anything to promote inclusion, foster camaraderie, or drive growth. The Ole Boys club runs the asylum. I would not recommend anyone to work at this company if you want to be a sane individual

Paychecks were on time I guess?

Cons

Almost all deliverables are late due to a lack of coordination and communication between departments. There is a lot of gate keeping information and because of this a distinct lack of documentation. No process for the PDLC. A lot of mickey mousing involved. Stay away
