Pros

None! The only pro I would say is the legacy brand value.

Cons

a) Salaries, bonus and increments are low as always b) Bad engineering culture, asking you to deliver 3 month's of task in 1 week. You will be fed bare minimum information to work on, PMs are there to just chill and write hallucinated documentation using Claude. As engineer you will be asked to do research, get approvals, design implementation plan, implement, review code, do testing on your local system (M2 Air) since there is no infrastructure to test things, get the code approved and merged. You will be given 1.5 days per task. c) Townhalls are full of lies, if you raise questions they will be diverted. d) You will spend time writing slop using AI which is not battle tested. e) Recent review on glassdoor are manipulated by HR

Pros

Unlike many corporations where strategic goals are kept behind closed doors, management here consistently demonstrates a commendable commitment to organizational integrity and open communication. Leadership actively loop teams into the broader company vision, financial health, and pivoting strategies. This level of honesty creates immense psychological safety, removes unnecessary office politics, and ensures everyone feels genuinely valued and aligned with our long-term mission. The caliber of talent across our teams is exceptional. The workplace is highly collaborative, respectful, and supportive, making long-term professional development both achievable and rewarding.

Cons

While remote work initially offers great flexibility, a 100% virtual framework becomes deeply isolating over the years. It eliminates organic, real-world team bonding and collaboration.
