Good competitive paid but plan for your exit
Pros
Good Salary: Market competitive paid (but plan for your exit and run when you go in, why is in the Cons" Interesting Project Itself: Subway in the City of Vancouver, what else you could ask? Location: Easy to commute, but not my major consideration when looking for a job.
Cons
- Management Bias: Favoritism towards Spanish and Italian employees undermines team morale. Disrespectful and bad behavior is tolerated and protected as long as you speak Italian or Spanish. Incredibly toxic work culture filled with bullying, racism, and unprofessionalism. - Chaotic project with poor management and poor coordination between departments. Evident by high turnover REALLY High turnover and terrible reviews everywhere. These people from Europe have a huge ego and think that they know everything and you know nothing. You will never fancy Italy or Spain after this. - Unrealistic expectations, tasks, and goals without support and direction from management, and what they ask for is often unethical. - Staff is mistreated & unless you are from Spain or Italy (expat), you are treated poorly and disposed of without any regard. People are often sacked on the spot just because the project is running low on budget for the month. - Nearly everyone is looking for another job. - This place is like a pressure cooker about to blast - Stay away if you want to work with human beings and not jerks.
