The upper management that is not their day to day do not listen to the needs of the staff. The upper management really seemed to care only about money. If you are in health care profession I believe you should really care about providing support to the kids and staff with at least a little bit of money past the basic necessities for your company to run. If we wanted to do crafts it took us months to convince the upper management to get approval for crafts supplies unless we bought it with your own money out of the objectively low pay we were making at my time working there. I understand a new management has taken over since but a lot of the same staff are there for now and I hope management can listen and support the needs of the kids and the staff that are actually with the kids all day.
