I really like this job, but after the first day, all the assignments were at least 100 miles away? Why would I drive 100 miles to get paid $15?

I did not get paid for all my assignments and after the first day all the assignments were at least 100 miles away. I’m not driving 100 miles to make $15, it’s a total scam.
