Bounteous laid off a chunk of employees overnight with no warning. Woke up to a meeting scheduled at 9:00am that was sent out at 9:00pm the night before to tell me the news. They told me it was just company restructuring but after talking to other employees who recieved the same treatment I came to the conclusion it was just simply lay offs. This was after receiving good work performance reviews as well so still unclear on what happened. On top of that, even though I got 6 week severance pay, my health benefits were cut off just a day after being laid off

After over 5 years with the company and excellent reviews with multiple managers and teams I was laid off without warning, after being consistently paid below my market value. I stayed there because I liked the people I worked with, the PTO/benefits, and the work itself, and my reward is 9 weeks severance. Pathetic.
