If you are lucky to be employed by BENEO, you can pride yourself in being part of cutting edge technology in the food manufacturing industry. The future of nutrition & health conscious food manufacturing. I was part of the team at Wijgmaal / Leuven / Belgium, in the Rice Ingredients Derivatives manufacturing, commercial team : sales & export. My team was friendly, courteous with a solid comradery feel. My direct manager was a genuine leader & a true ally. The company has horizontal organizational hierarchy, first name bases, fosters an informal, egalitarian culture where open communication flows freely. Pay structure was very fair, compensation was generous & a very attractive bundle of benefits.
Cons
Based on personal experience: Lack of career progression. No prospects for role diversification or talent fostering & utilization. If you are employed in a position, generally you are expected to stay in the same position.
