Not so great

Pros

Autonomy. You will have full autonomy in your position, which can be very freeing and allow for creativity and hard work for most.

Cons

Complete and total nepotism, that would sum it up. If you can get on the good side of the person who is truly running the company on the day to day basis you will thrive. Once you are on their bad side, they will have no use for you and find a way to let you go.

Pros

-Great people, culture, and company values -Focused on the success of the customer and not just the bottom line -Mission-driven and many company programs focused on volunteering, diversity & inclusion, and in general giving back to our communities -The tech is intuitive, fun, and innovative -A nice balance of team collaboration but then being empowered to deliver incredible customer experiences -Located in San Diego but virtual staff as well -A focus on work-life balance and mental health

Cons

-We've grown tremendously and are in a very dynamic and ever-evolving industry. Every day is a little different here which may not be for everyone

Positive Company Culture!

Pros

Blue Sky has grown significantly over the last few years, so there's a great mix of new and seasoned team members. Many team members work outside of San Diego, but you wouldn't know it from the camaraderie amongst staff. The culture is very inclusive of all staff, and you feel like you're part of the team from day one. The product is excellent, and paired with highly motivated and knowledgeable staff; it makes you want to work hard and take Blue Sky to the next level. Beyond what I already mentioned, there's ample opportunity for growth, fair wages, and good benefits. If you're thinking of applying, do so immediately so you can get in while you can! The turnover is very low, so there won't be positions open for very long!

Cons

If you are not looking for a fast-paced environment, Blue Sky may not be for you.
