Pros

Being able to work in environments and able to offer a service to those in need Creating a relationship with families and clients Being able to help clients My BCBA peers were very helpful in teaching me information I needed to know.

Cons

Not getting paid when clients cancel Getting scolded for making mistakes that were not communicated to me Being out in an uncomfortable position at work that didn’t allow me to work at my full capacity Behavior nation does not stick to their company policy. It clearly states if “client and bt do not get along Behavior Nation will do everything in their power to make things right by either taking you off schedule or putting with with a different family. I was told “I don’t get to pick who I work with. I drove to a clients location many times only for Behavior Nation to tell me last minute that client cancelled and I did not get reimbursed for it. This happened a total of 8 times I started out as part time where I worked 22 hours a week, then moved up to 36.5 which lasted two weeks. After getting a client taken from me, my hours went down to 10 hours a week and I no longer qualified for benefits, again, you do NOT get paid for clients cancelling. I had gotten sick at clients location and needed to take time off. Behavior Nation made it a complete headache, reprimanding me for a doctors note, I went into this job completely healthy and came out ill. A lot of things weren’t communicated to me during training and I was scolded for asking questions. I’m as wondering about benefits and was told to “go back and check the welcome letter” when I went back to check, the link was no longer valid, showing a web 401 error. They seemed more concerned about the money then they did actually helping the families. Look at their yelp reviews, it speaks volumes about the company itself. -the company is very small. HR & the Scheduling department are 2 people. I talked to the same one each time I would call but another one would answer by email. They’re all on an email chain, so when you send an email to HR, the CEO has the ability to email you with a reply. Just seems unprofessional. They’re disorganized. I would know information about a client before they would. Example, my client was no longer at a location I would meet them at, I called Behavior Nation and asked if they knew and were completely silent, expressing that they didn’t know or hadn’t heard anything.

Pros

Co-workers were awesome to work with

Cons

-Unrealistic expectations put on you -You get in trouble and written up for things that were not communicated to you -Work environment is not a learning environment (you are expected to know everything and do not feel like you can reach out to get answers to your questions) -Their priority: Money -emphasize “culture” but do not care about employees or their clients -VERY HIGH turn over
