Only one student at a time for each teacher. The place is often a zoo with kids running around as they please **being kids** instead of robots. That's + and -

This is a business more than a school. Teachers are paid little, but parents are paying a premium for private tutoring. Students have no real incentive to work and the teachers lack training in special education. Owner tells parents that the primary accommodation for students with special needs is to be up front with teacher, so this is perfect and no special training is needed. NO. Most teachers have no idea how to work with dyslexia, dyscalculia, oppositional defiant disorder, autism, etc. The teachers do not help students to understand and compensate for their learning differences or creatively generate ways to convey the material so that students LEARN. The material is just "covered." Does anyone actually LEARN here? Is that even a priority? Many of the children have social disorders and are never socialized. They can't get along with other children because they do not have to in a 1 teacher:1 student class. Have seen kids hit other kids, but nothing is done because they are all customers paying $75K a year, after all. The texts are out of date or else online, regardless of what is best for students with learning differences. High Net Worth families can do a LOT better than this place. Find a private tutor.
