Highly toxic work environment

Pros

Nothing other than fake, false pretensive inclusive biweekly game

Cons

The organization claims to be inclusive but all they want is a mind reader,  and statistics. They are very disorganized, from the onset of commencing work; all red flags;  delay in getting equipment across whereas the supervisor already sending emails a week before resumption without even accessing a computer yet! Everything is  a rush with a short temper and zero support. Desire mind reader, lack patience to respond to questions, disgrace and embarrass you with external stakeholders because of gaps they cause and their ineptitude and inefficiency, high staff turnover rate with the same complaint in an overwhelming toxic environment. From my first day I did not feel at home, it did not just feel like the place to be as the supervisor is always in a rush with short temper, and then with time I realize they have zero conducive work environment, very very toxic and non welcoming. Never looked forward to going to work, became mentally exhausted and fatigued. I hope they figure out their working process and stop treating staff like objects and machines. Glad to finally be free!!!! Not everyone is desperately looking for money and the benefits they throw at your face to buy you, if the environment just isn't right, people will never put in their best, and their continuous cycle of staff turnover and continuous recruitment will never end!

Lack of compassion

Pros

The only pro is that it is a crown corporation which gave good benefits.

Cons

Utilize excessive levels of bureaucratic red tape to achieve nothing. Everyone is on a power trip to try and prove their position valuable. The company claims to want to change the workforce in the trades for the better, yet they treat their corporate employees like garbage. Do yourself a favour and do not work for them, both at a corporate level or at the trades level.

The worst company from my experience

Pros

Good pension plan. Vacation and sick days are fair.

Cons

The entire system of this company is quite chaotic. You'll often find yourself working overtime due to receiving urgent requests, especially from the leadership and HR department. It's highly politicized, which is not conducive to a thriving company or a healthy leadership environment. A company should focus more on its business, improving work efficiency, and caring for its employees, rather than constantly being in opposition to them and always monitoring their work everyday. Making what they consider to be correct decisions that result in decreased work efficiency and frequent conflicts with employees is unacceptable. For instance, even if you're unwell and need to visit the hospital in the morning, you have to attend meetings (not important) on site in the afternoon because of some scheduled event, rather than allowing time for recovery or enabling participation through video conferencing. This reflects serious issues within the company's management. Hence, if you're considering working here, it's advisable to be single and preferably a workaholic, as this seems to be conducive to advancement and promotion within the company.
