Pros

None. Please read the "Cons" & "Advice to Management"

Cons

First, I'd like to start by calling out the "fluff" reviews that are added to here that are clearly being done by upper management trying to save themselves as Axiom is going through a very bad struggle with retaining employees. There is not a single good thing to say about Axiom. I was hired with about 8-10 other people to be "Configuration Specialist/Associate of Regulatory Reporting" We were all promised that there was so many new clients and a lot of work that was in the pipeline. After we completed the awful training program for their extremely outdated and difficult to use software, we were left to fend for ourselves. We were not assigned to any work, and it took us 5 months to be assigned to a client. During our first 5 months we had our eyes opened to the culture at Axiom. People walked around talking in Russian -clearly making comments about how the new hires had no work to do. Instead of supporting the new hires, they would make comments to us for not staying at work past 5pm. During the interview process, Axiom preaches about internal growth, but once you work there for a couple months it becomes pretty apparent that there is no chance of climbing the ladder at Axiom. If you go to Axiom, you are learning a very specific software tool that is not a transferrable skill set to outside of Axiom unless you get hired by one of their few clients, but oh wait, you can't get hired by them because Axiom forces you into signing a non-compete agreement. Lets talk about benefits. The healthcare options although are free, are not good plans. The company does NOT contribute to your 401k at all. The work hours are 9am-5pm according to management, but as I said be prepared to be scolded if you leave before 5pm even if you are done with your work for the day. There is NO opportunities to work from home, so if it snows bad enough that you can't make it into the office you are forces to use a Personal Day. One of the previous reviews mentioned a family-like environment. This is NOT the case at all. The company is in fact family owned, so be prepared to work with a lot of people who only got the job because they are family friends with someone in upper management. There is no fun part about working for Axiom - no company happy hours, no company outings, no team building exercises. When I found a new opportunity and gave my 2 weeks notice to Axiom they made the decision to instantly terminate me without pay for the next 2 weeks. Although it can be understandable how this is a business decision, it goes to show that nobody that works at Axiom cares about doing the right thing. The company has NO morals, NO ethics, and NO care for their employees.

Pros

Casual work attire. Other than that - None!

Cons

I have been working in this hellhole for more than an year. Apart from the management and employees speaking Russian and being extremely unprofessional, they are barely literate. People get hired here mostly through referrals. Employees basically have zero career advancement opportunities. The values they talk about in the interview process have nothing to do about the way this firm works. The technology is outdated, the employees are overworked and extremely underpaid to the point that they feel they are taken advantage of almost every day of their lives. The work hours are 9-8 pm on most days and you don't get paid for the overtime you do. If you want to join this company, be ready to sacrifice to family life. The management micro-manages and the culture is pathetic. During my tenure, I have seen almost 30 people leave the company due to it's culture, so the management is clueless about the things they should and in turn put more pressure on the current employees. There is nothing positive about this company.

Pros

If you look for freedom you find plenty. Also some people of the developer staff are really savvy, especially the development teams in Ukraine and Russia. Very good product. But that is about it.

Cons

(Valid for the European HQ London, not New York) No processes, no governance culture, no communication. Good people stay maximum 1 or 2 years (apart from the well paid top 10%). There is no vision or plan, so also no feedback. If the result (which is only measured in sales revenue) is bad, they fire some people. If a client shouts about bad service they hire some people to fix it. Tons of underpaid junior people who believe anything. They often start to develop a product when it is sold, so sales and presales people have to lie systematically to the prospects and customers about the development state of products. Sales commissions are less than half of the industry standard, hence they hire no experienced sales people. Salary always paid late.
