      Pros

      • Friendly team • Great location • Relaxed atmosphere

      Cons

      For a tech company Aptitude feels stuck in the dark ages. The technology is old school and the majority of staff have been here for decades, meaning there is little movement. The office is relaxed but it certainly isn’t a young, dynamic place to work. There are more forward thinking consultancies out there.

      some really good people who are trying very hard to deliver brilliant culture - they have embraced the changing times and understand the sector and employee needs

      Cons

      A company that is trying to grow, but direction is unclear and weak and there is not enough investment and lack of knowledge to make the right calls Has become too corporate and political for many to see a long future.

      It's a job and pay is competitive

      Delivery consulting is not a strategic focus, software sales is goal at the expense of consulting /delivery. Software is sold to clients that is not ready / premature and doesn't work with many bugs. Software issues are put on delivery/implementation team. No real successful implementations based on promises made to clients regarding benefits of software in sales process, only sub par usage of software products. f you do your due diligence, you will find there are no happy reference clients to speak of who have purchased the software.
