Awful place, no values, lack of respect for employees
Pros
The only thing good about this place was the bonus, but this has been changed so that new starters only get 1k per year compared to everyone else getting 6k and managers getting upward of 12k.
Cons
Working here is nowhere near as good as the fake reviews left by 'recruitment' make out, it's awful, the management and COO only work to serve themselves they have little to no respect for their employees and change rules and processes to suit their needs and if you speak up for yourself you are reprimanded or told you are wrong. There is literally no career progression but you are expected to work across teams including ones that are paid more than you for no reward at all barely even a thank you. In the customer service team, you are micromanaged within an inch of your life and have no breathing room, despite the fact that to work here you have to have a degree so you would expect that the employees at least know a little about organisation and time-management, and they do, but the management team are so controlling they make sure your every minute is accounted for by telling you exactly what to do and when (even if this makes no sense, which it often doesn't). They will pry you in with talk of bonuses, free food on Fridays and company benefits but there are none, the Friday food is only there if you achieve a ridiculous target which is near impossible as all teams targets are contradictory of one another. What's left is also slowly being stripped away. You will be talked down too, you will feel like you have no freedom as working hours can be up to 48 hours + weekends in the 'busy period' which is a size able chunk of the year. 40 days holiday is useless as you have to use 2 of these for the two bank holidays they allow off and also for Christmas day, boxing day and new years day! You have no choice about this unless you want them unpaid. The only people that benefit are the people who have direct ties with the owner and management see the chat team - all partners or ex partners of the founder, CEO and COO and now a managers girlfriend. They categorically do not have their employees best interests at heart, they only care for making money for themselves. They will dock bonuses for ridiculous reasons, and make any excuse to not grant holiday. Sometimes you won't even be paid on time, or pay dates will just be changed at a moments notice usually because it's the 'finance managers' daughters birthday or she's on holiday. I mean it's not like you can get automated payroll now, you even have to do half of her job for her by checking your punch clock before every payday.
