Awful work environment, no amount of pay is worth it

Pros

Ok pay. The people here are smart, and there is a good demand for the product.

Cons

Less-than-pleasant work environment. The CEO's behavior was often disrespectful and crossed the line with inappropriate comments, especially regarding race and gender. Public outbursts and condescending tones were disturbingly common. The way work was assigned was simply dysfunctional. It often felt like the CEO just didn't care about our bandwidth or the company's priorities. The 'hybrid' work arrangement turned out to be a misrepresentation; initially, I was told it would be 3 days a week in the office after a 1-month onboarding period. However, after the onboarding period, it switched to a full 3 more months of in-office work. Additionally, parking was not subsidized.

Great company working through growing pains

Pros

AgMonitor cares deeply about their customers and providing excellent services and products. There is legitimate product-market fit, and a great team of very smart and driven individuals. Customers have constantly great things to say and you really feel like you are providing value to the food/ag industry. Benefits are above market standard for a company of this size.

Cons

There is some disorganization from leadership not uncommon for growing startups. Communication could be improved among the team that is hybrid around CA.
