      Pros

      I've been a full-time employee with Affair Tent & Event Rentals for more than 18 years and have found it to be an incredibly rewarding experience. The bulk of the staff have been here for over a decade, some even longer than me. It's a second family. I come in each day targeted on ensuring our products and services are amongst the best the industry has to offer and that feeling is shared by the people I work with. They care, plain and simple. Not a lot of workplaces can say the same.

      Cons

      I wish the special event season were longer here in Ontario! Mother Nature will need to assist with that one.

      Best Summer Job I Ever Had

      Pros

      Helping to set up tents for the Special Olympics and similar events was amazing. This summer job inspired me to get into the catering world after I finished school. The experience was invaluable.

      Cons

      At the beginning of the summer some of my new summer co-workers complained about having to work outside in the rain! Ridiculous. I wouldn't change a thing. Rain or shine, the show must go on!

      Pros

      - Great working outside in the sun - Lots of overtime in the summer - Great co-workers, like a big family - Nick is the best boss I've ever had - he really did change my idea of what a strong work ethic should be

      Cons

      - Wish I could have put some hours in over the winter while in school, but not much happening in the tent rental business at that time of year
