Interview
Submitted resume after seeing an ad in the paper (yes, a long time ago) and received a call from the company President inviting me to meet with him personally to discuss the position. The company President was a big, lively man with a keen sense of humour. He was direct in his questions concerning my qualifications and experience and open minded to a new approach to continue to build the company that his family had started 15 years earlier. I liked what I saw and hoped my interviewer felt the same. The company founder contacted me a few days later to officially offer me the job, which I accepted.

I met with the General Manager, Chris at a job fair on campus at my school. He was really upbeat and had brought a big sledgehammer to show off some of the tools of the trade. I was intrigued and really hadn't realized what was involved in supplying festivals and special events with tents and rental items. We talked about the jobs available and what a typical working day was like and I thought it sounded right up my ally. I had done landscaping previously for summer work and really enjoyed working outside. Chris gave me his card and invited me to visit their facility for a tour. When I made it for the facility visit, I was amazed. I just didn't expect the operation to be so big! Chris gave me a personal tour of the facility and we chatted about the role and I was all in.

It was very quick and easy. They aren't looking for many qualifications, besides the ability to work in a quick-paced and very hot environment? My resume was quickly looked at. No previous job experience is needed.
