I HATED BEING ON THIS PLANTATION. FELT LIKE A SLAVE
Firstly my Views are based on working in THE CONTACT CENTRE ONLY. I can't speak about other Departments
Work: Boring, Repetitive , Brain Numbing I felt my life flash by me everyday in this HELL HOLE.
Hours if your FT you will work 5/7 days this may include weekend work.Everyday potentially you can be given a different start and finish time within the hours you have chosen. So if there's something you need to attend weekly like a class or something you might not be able to go.Also bear in mind you may be given 3 days off in a row which would mean you may have to work 6/7 straight days.
Breaks/Lunch: All breaks are allocated on the Sabeo System ..Which means you go on break and lunch when your told to. Also Lunch you only get 30 mins.
Environment: Cramped, Hot, Loud , Noisy. You can barely hear your customers on the telephone let alone think.I felt like a caged Rat.
Staff- Managers- Watch your every move like OVERSEERS . 2 Nice ones. Most however are RUDE, OBNOXIOUS,SPITEFUL & THINK THEY ARE SPECIAL.
Staff-Colleagues- A few nice ones. Most are Rude, Arrogant, Self Absorbed, Dumb, Stupid, UNEDUCATED. They will do whatever it takes to get a promotion.
Sick Pay. You get 2 DAYS PAID SICK PAY FOR THE YEAR!!! So if your sick you won't get paid. Holidays....Have to be booked on Sabeo and ok'd by the management, very few days were left..One colleague who booked way in ADVANCE the day off to attend her nephews christening was told 3 days before the Christening her day off had been denied and she was expected at work. Also you may be Scheduled to work Bank Holidays if you want that Day Off you have to book it as holiday.
Customers: High Demand, most are rude as hell and are very demanding. When you end one call another comes through so there is no respite especially IF IT RAINS.
Career Opps : None if you think your going to be the Manager or one of the Directors think again it's not going to happen.
Break Room: Hot Humid like a Sauna no Air Conditioning, Smelly,Stinky.
Turnover: There's a VERY HIGH TURNOVER which should already Ring Alarm Bells in your head. They are constantly recruiting new people. Why would anyone in their right mind stay in the environment.?
