Pros

good tea & coffee and air-con

Cons

1. The "One-Man Band" Environment There is insufficient manpower for administrative tasks. From planning and management to contacting clients/exhibitors and ordering supplies, a single person handles everything. These tasks are extremely time-consuming, yet management ignores the operational details. They treat employees like AI, assuming every problem has a "one-click" solution, showing a total lack of understanding of real-world operations. 2. Chaotic Management The company has two CEOs with completely different working styles and management models. Even the onboarding process is a mess, even after corrections, the employment contract couldn't be processed in a timely manner. 3. Zero Team Spirit Most employees only look out for themselves, and there is no cross-departmental cooperation. Even though exhibitions are closely related to the Student Consultancy department, they refuse to help. For minor tasks that take 15 minutes, people shirk responsibility, claiming "you’re in the Events Department, so you do it," even when I am already overwhelmed with exhibition prep. 4. Absolute Micromanagement They don't want a decision-maker; they want a mindless executor or a personal assistant. The management style is rigid. Furthermore, the department and superiors focus only on their own interests, completely disregarding actual execution and event outcomes. 5. Culture of Blame (Scapegoating) Work instructions are often given only verbally, and the contents of meeting minutes are ignored. When problems arise, they blame the staff for "execution errors." Despite providing evidence that work was checked and cross-referenced with superiors before execution to reach a consensus, they still deflect all responsibility onto the employee when things go wrong.

Cons

Toxic work culture – The overall environment is highly stressful and demoralising, with poor communication and low morale across teams. Lack of direction from management Constant last-minute changes – The CEO frequently changes ideas and sends messages late at night, creating unnecessary pressure. Excessive micromanagement Lack of respect for employees Poor internal communication – Teams often receive conflicting instructions, and important decisions are made without proper explanation. No recognition or support High turnover and low morale
