Pros

As stated below, the owners screaming at each other in another language is entertaining and sometimes they'll let you have some free snacks.

Cons

Where do I start? First and foremost they operate other companies on the down low that I'm pretty sure are illegal practices. I found out about them and walked out never to return. Many MANY people walked out of this office and never came back. The treat women like 2nd class citizens and allow their sales men to talk to women like slaves. They actually made their sales assistant come in on a weekend and paint walls. She went to lunch one day and never came back. I don't blame her. They promised me lots of things and never delivered. When the shady business practices were discovered one of the owners suddenly left the country for weeks. This company is a mess and that's an understatement. I'm giving them a star because that's the lowest I can go. Benefits are absolutely horrible and they'll post jobs like they'll pay you salary. Don't buy it.

You'll always be 'the first person to complain about this.'

Pros

The public screaming matches between management are always amusing. Free snacks and refreshments.

Cons

Their creative interpretation of labor law means they only pay up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. If you work 39 hours, you're paid for 39. If you work 45, you get paid for 40. Don't let them fool you into using the time clock if they tell you you're salaried-- once you punch in, the nickel-and-dime games begin. The pay is low for the industry across all verticals-- don't expect it to be competitive. Potential instructors should beware the bonded contracts: you're expected to sign on for 2-3 years but they won't guarantee COLA adjustments in writing and there is nowhere for you to grow. This is an OK deal for retirees or those without any ambition but career suicide for the naive or anybody with time left on the clock. You'll owe them tens of thousands of dollars (full retail value) for training the day you sign their contract, have a post-employment non-compete agreement over your head and the certs you'll accrue will be largely random, irrelevant and/or near-outdated by the time you're released. If you have the guts to stand up for yourself, just know that whatever your grievance is, you'll always be the first person to complain about it. Ignore their mind games-- if at any point you start to feel like you're being taken advantage of, it's because you are. Best of luck to you.

Pros

Hard to find a pro when working for such horrible people but I really loved my coworkers.

Cons

We'll start with the fact that you are not paid overtime, though you are required to work extra hours. When a bad review comes in, employees are blamed and berated. Management refuses to take responsibility for their actions or admit any mistake. Management will pile new duties onto employees without any incentive--raise in pay or change in title. Employees do not sign a contract and are therefore expected to do any and everything management asks without question. If you attempt to create boundaries by asking for clarity on your duties or by asking management to treat you with respect, you will be bullied, berated, and ultimately terminated. Management is extremely sexist. They expect women to do much more of the grunt work without question and treat male employees with much more respect and kindness.
