Pros

Needed services. Great mission. Patients & families need help and are the life of the job. PS opportunities.

Cons

Poor CEO and management. Extremely unethical behavior from management to employees, specifically CEO. Co workers crying in the office after speaking with CEO, yelling in public and in front of patients at staff, etc. Unrealistic expectations for employees who work 40+ hours a week and do not just slack off. No recognizition or opportunity for personal growth. Management consistantly degrades and belittles individuals personally and micromanage work. No HR support or supportive guidance from management or CEO. Emotional abuse and harassment are increasingly prevalent for those that management does not “favor” and those who are favored are extremely noticible. Do not work here if you value your self esteem and work ethic. Work not commensurate with salary, poor insurance benefits, unethical working conditions.

Pros

The organization has their head on straight knowing remote work is the way to go.

Cons

Where do I begin? - They have recently terminated over 50 positions, with a significant amount being people from Care Services, conflicting with their mission. - They have slowly removed benefits like holidays being off for all staff. - They have recently introduced a policy where we are forced to use at least 10 days of PTO; and have to have 75 hours less of PTO than what we have now by February 2026. Additionally, if someone does not have 10 days worth of PTO by February 2026, then they HAVE to take unpaid days off. - Countless meetings that only exist for the sake of having a meeting so someone who does no work can justify their job, holding back productivity by staff who need to get their job done. - Overpaid c-suite staff who are out of touch with the mission.

Pros

- Remote work - Decent pay, would not consider it great - Wonderful mission

Cons

Unfortunately, current leadership (Chiefs, VP's) and the unification process will lead to the final demise of this organization. Which is incredibly sad because there are so many dedicated employees (that they have now run off) who defended the decision to unify as a single corporation + love this mission. Employees lack an immense level of resources to do their job, financials are never clear and numbers change by the day, development staff are given unrealistic goals and no support to achieve the goals. Entirely too many people were promoted and hired during the unification process to coax Chapters to unify. Now the organization is operating in more of a deficit and the small amount of development staff left are expected to make up the difference. I really do hope a culture shift occurs, but it doesn't seem to appear that will happen anytime soon. The Chapters that decided not to unify are all saying "I told you so"... boy, were they right,
