Not What It Once Was

Pros

My teammates were kind, creative and super supportive. We also had legit work-life balance—I probably worked closer to 25/30 hours a week even though I was full time.

Cons

This place has really started to change in the past 6 months. The company grew too fast without necessary systems and structures in place, so now they're scrambling to get things in order, which means disorganization, poor communication and the removal of worker-friendly policies. It definitely feels more corporate now, and sadly I think that feeling is only going to grow. Additionally, there's few opportunities for career growth and the salaries are below market value (the ones reported here on Glassdoor are inflated).

Exposing the Dark Side of 1021 Creative

Pros

it's a 100% remote job. We get a generous 32 days of PTO, which sounds great, but sometimes it's hard to actually take all those days off when you want!!

Cons

Working at 1021 Creative can be tough. Seniors aren't really competent, talking too much without actions. They often focus on superficial things and cause chaos and inefficiencies. And the worst part? Salaries don't always match the effort we put in, making things feel totally unfair, especially when people in the same team can earn different salaries. It's really frustrating because it's not even related to competence, it's just some unfortunate HR decision. It's hard to see clear career growth opportunities too. Plus, there are promises that never get fulfilled, adding to the disappointment. The work environment can get super stressful, and there's not enough support to handle it all. They need to address these issues ASAP to make things better for everyone.

Pros

Remote work other than that can’t think of any

Cons

All they care about is quick quota’s and punching clocks. No interest i investing in employees or lifting them up. Blame their clients for their shortfalls.
