The company provides dial-up Internet access to consumer and business subscribers in 49 US states (every one except Alaska), as well in the District of Columbia. It also offers broadband connections as a reseller of cable Internet services provided by Time Warner Cable. LocalNet's other data services include Web hosting and domain name registration. LocalNet sells directly to consumers and through resellers, including retail stores and systems integrators. The company was founded in 1994 by president Marc Silvestri.
