About your role
As Product Manager, you’ll take responsibility for driving profitable growth across the Food Ingredients and Health & Nutrition segments in New Zealand.
You’ll work at the centre of the business — connecting suppliers, customers, sales and supply chain — to ensure the right products are brought to market and delivered effectively.
This is a broad, hands-on role where you’ll:
Own portfolio strategy, pricing and performance
Support sales teams with product, pricing and technical insights
Work directly with customers to identify and unlock growth opportunities
Collaborate with supply chain to ensure reliable product availability
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of food ingredients across the NZ market
Forecast demand, manage stock and optimise product availability
Work with suppliers (including global partners and IXOM teams) to source and develop products
Partner with Sales to drive new business and grow existing accounts
Translate customer needs and market trends into commercial opportunities
Manage pricing, margins and portfolio performance
Provide product and technical support to internal teams and customers
Maintain accurate product, pricing and CRM data
Who are we looking for?
Experience in food ingredients, food manufacturing or related industries
Background in product management, commercial or sales roles
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive growth and profitability
Confidence working with customers and cross-functional teams
Ability to translate technical information into practical solutions
Self-driven, resilient and comfortable working in a developing market
Nice to have:
Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Nutrition or related discipline
Experience managing supplier relationships or imported product portfolios
