This is an excellent opportunity to join our Funds Technology team. We support the technology platforms that are core to the operation of ANZ Investments products, including KiwiSaver and the ANZ Investment Funds.
As an Application Support Analyst, you will support the daily operations of business‑critical applications and contribute to ongoing reliability, while looking for opportunities for continuous improvement across the application lifecycle.

You’ll play an important role in keeping our Funds applications running smoothly while building your skills and learning how large-scale systems operate. Your day-to-day activities will include:
Supporting and maintaining business-critical applications across a multi-platform environment
Investigating incidents and helping resolve issues, while learning how to improve system stability and performance
Assisting with identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities, following best practices
Contributing to automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives as you grow your capability
Working closely with engineers and stakeholders to support and enhance system delivery
Learning from and contributing to a collaborative team environment through knowledge sharing
You’ll also take part in a shared 24/7 support roster, giving you hands-on experience in incident management within a large, enterprise environment and accelerating your learning in real-world scenarios.

This role will suit someone starting to build their career in application support, who wants to gain technical support skills in a complex and specialised environment. You will ideally bring:
A solid foundational understanding of technology, with curiosity about how systems and processes work together
Basic exposure to incident, problem, or change management concepts
Some experience or coursework in supporting applications or infrastructure in Windows and/or Linux environments
An interest in learning automation and scripting (e.g. PowerShell, SQL)
Awareness of monitoring, security or web technologies concepts
Familiarity with DevOps or CI/CD concepts (academic or practical exposure)
Exposure to ServiceNow or similar tools is a plus
A positive, collaborative team mindset with a willingness to learn
Strong communication skills and the confidence to ask questions and seek guidance
