Your impact
We're seeking an experienced Principal or Lead to Senior level Secondary Engineer to join our team in New Zealand. In this role, you'll support a wide range of clients, including utilities, developers/independent power producers, industrial facilities, and government entities, helping them navigate the complexities of modern power systems and drive the transition towards more resilient and sustainable energy infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee secondary systems for distribution and transmission networks (22kV to 220kV), including d esign reviews.
Develop comprehensive secondary engineering deliverables, including control and relay panel layouts, schematics, ODJB, drawings, block diagrams, and bills of materials.
Lead multidisciplinary projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
Mentor and develop engineers, fostering growth in our Substation Engineering capabilities.
Engage with clients as a trusted technical advisor and contribute to business development across geographies.
Here's what you'll need
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in High Voltage Secondary Electrical Engineering.
Proficiency in relay software (e.g., Enervista, PCM600, Digsi) and CAD software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse geographies.
Commitment to staying current with industry developments and technical innovations.
