An Employment Specialist helps people find, obtain, and keep employment. They often work with job seekers, people with disabilities, youth, unemployed individuals, or those returning to work after illness or other challenges.

Typical Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Assess clients' skills, experience, and career goals

Develop employment plans and job-search strategies

Assist with CV/résumé writing and interview preparation

Connect clients with employers and job opportunities

Build relationships with local businesses and recruiters

Arrange training, work experience, or vocational programs

Monitor client progress and provide ongoing support after placement

Maintain case notes, reports, and employment records

Advocate for clients and help address workplace challenges

Pay: $5,750.00 – $6,650.00 per month
