We're looking for a Parks Training Programme Lead to lead learning and development initiatives across our Parks Unit, support early-career pathways and create opportunities for people to succeed.
This role combines programme leadership, coaching, and relationship management with practical coordination and administration. You’ll work closely with frontline staff, leaders, training providers, and industry partners to build skills and development opportunities.

The Parks Unit protects and cares for more than 1,200 parks and gardens across Christchurch and Banks Peninsula. With over 300 staff working in a wide variety of roles, developing our kaimahi is critical to our success.

As our Parks Training Programme Lead, you’ll lead training and development initiatives across the unit while supporting cadets, interns, and others at the start of their careers. You’ll bring a strong big-picture mindset, build effective relationships, and confidently turn ideas into action.
