The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager or Project Director to become a key figure within the Christchurch business.
While you will continue to lead the successful delivery of projects, this role is equally about building relationships and helping grow the business. You will enjoy networking, meeting clients, creating new connections and representing one of the industry's most respected brands. You will be someone who genuinely enjoys getting out into the market, strengthening existing relationships and uncovering new opportunities.
Working closely with the Christchurch leadership team, you will help shape the future growth of the office while delivering outstanding outcomes for clients across a diverse range of projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Actively networking within the Christchurch construction and property market.
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships and generate new business.
- Mentoring and supporting junior project managers.
- Working collaboratively with the wider national team to continue strengthening the business's market presence.
- Acting as an ambassador for a highly respected consultancy with an outstanding reputation.

The Ideal Candidate
You will be an experienced project management professional who enjoys working with people as much as delivering successful projects.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience delivering construction projects within a project management consultancy or client-side environment.
- Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills.
- A natural ability to build relationships and establish trust with clients.
- A genuine passion for networking, business development and representing a respected brand.
- Leadership experience or the desire to mentor and support others.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
