I believe the interview process could be improved by ensuring that HR representatives are more familiar with the company and the role. My interviewer was about six minutes late, seemed unprepared, and only asked me to tell him about myself, which made it difficult to have a meaningful or role-related conversation. I also felt like I was just another number added to fill time, rather than a candidate being genuinely considered. A more structured and informed interview would make the process more valuable for both sides.
