Question 1

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Zomato (Andheri East) in Jun 2024
Interview
I attended the interview even though I was recovering from a fever, which showed me the importance of staying committed and professional during the hiring process. The first round was a group discussion on the topic “4-day vs. 6-day work week.”
I chose to support the 6-day work week, focusing on points like consistency, discipline, and business reliability. Other participants presented strong arguments about productivity and employee well-being under a 4-day structure, which helped me see different perspectives on workplace culture.
The discussion was competitive, with candidates from various backgrounds—some with prior sales experience and others holding MBA degrees, which made it a great learning experience. Although I didn’t clear the GD round, it helped me understand the level of communication skills and structured thinking expected in such roles.
The topic was “4-day vs. 6-day work week.” I supported the 6-day week, emphasizing consistency and discipline, but learned how others framed their arguments around productivity and client behavior. This experience motivated me to improve myself further.
Since then, I’ve transitioned into real estate, where I handle clients directly and have grown significantly in confidence, communication, and client management skills. My first job laid the foundation, but this experience shaped me into a more capable and self-aware professional.
Be clear, confident, and concise when speaking.
Back your arguments with real-world logic or examples.
Listen actively to others in the discussion and respond thoughtfully.
Brush up on current workplace and business topics.
Overall, the experience was valuable and helped me grow in terms of confidence, communication, and professional presence.
