I applied for the entry level position online and was emailed by the recruiter about a week later to schedule a 30 minute phone screening. She asked me tell her more about myself, why I wanted to work at Zillow, my past work experience, my senior thesis, why I like data analytics, what i've been doing since graduation. She was very friendly and making the interview more like a conversation. I was told that after this there would be a phone screening with the hiring manager and then finally an onsite interview. Unfortunately, I was told about a week later that they had decided to move on with other candidates. Even though I didn't make it pass the phone screening, I thought the overall experience was nice and good practice for someone new to the industry.
