I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp in May 2024
Interview
Interview process was not too bad, it was a two step process. You start of speaking to a recruiter then there's a panel interview with 2 sales managers. I wish during the panel interview, they focused more on my skills instead of hounding me and asking the same question but in different ways on why I'm looking to switch careers. This was asked multiple times during the call.
I applied online. I interviewed at Yelp (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interview was smooth. I was given good information about pay, culture, and what is expected of an inside sales representative on typical day. I was also allowed to ask question.
Everyone was super nice and very clearly proud of Yelp culture. The communication was quick and clear on expectations of the interview and onboarding process. Both the recruiter and the hiring managers were very insightful about the business and offered great feedback to my mock call.

Question 1
They had me run through a mock sales call twice with feedback in between.
It was okay, the salary is quite low and does not match the market for similar roles. I think that the actual interview is not hard, but it is hard to stay motivated knowing the salary number.
