I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Yelp
Interview
Met the recruiter at the school career fair. Took my resume and called me for a phone interview. Passed the phone interview and called me in for a face to face. It was with three different managers. The hiring managers need better communication amongst themselves, because they ask to do a three step role play and mix up their stories.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Yelp (Austin, TX) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.

Question 1
One question they asked during my interview was what specifically about the role made me feel it was a strong fit for my background and experience.
The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
It was a one time interview over video call with a pre call before. One on one with a training manager. Pretty simple not too hard at all. Lasted 30 minutes with questions and role plays.
