      Active Directory Administrator Interview

      13 Dec 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New Haven, CT
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Yale University (New Haven, CT) in Sept 2022

      Interview

I interviewed for this position twice once a few years ago and one fairly recently. I interviewed remotely with several people they seem to be more interested in someone who could pass a test instead of learning and growing into the job. I took the same online test twice. It generally asked obscure questions about specific command line arguments that you could look up in under a minute. I got another call from a recruiter, so they've posted it again. Not a good sign that they can't fill the position or people keep leaving.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What command would you use to restore the default domain policy if it became corrupt.
