I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at YITU Technology
Interview
Bureaucratic, messy and arrogant (a cash-rich startup wannabe)
Applied for the role in Singapore and was called up for the interview 3 weeks later.
The male HR partner has no idea how my resume came into his possession but nevertheless arranged for a 1:1 interview.
The interviewer was swapped without me knowing nor was there any introduction of his designation. Upon knowing the other AI companies I applied for, started to look down upon them (other companies). Overall the interview process went quite well but the interviewer can't seem to share much about the role applied.
There was no HR follow-up subsequently until I do so myself weeks later, and was informed that I am proposed for other roles (not related to the role I applied for) and the process has restarted again (requires min. 2 weeks). HR promised to check what happened and get back but he simply "disappeared" since.
I have served in interview panels before for new startups with similar headcount and the turn around is within 1 week after the first interview.
The company seems to be already tied up in corporate processes and having individual functions working in their separate silos before the local startup stabilized itself.

Question 1
Basic introduction and the projects you have done before
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at YITU Technology (Shanghai, Shanghai) in Jul 2018
Interview
Rush interview... Feel unprofessional and disrespectful. Long delay in the interview start time (as the interviewer was in another meeting...), very general questions on my working experience, uninformative answers on the job position when I put the questions....no feedback on the interview and afterwards...
