I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at X (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
I applied online, and submitted my resume through an employee as well. I was contacted within a couple of days by the recruiter, who scheduled my phone screen with the hiring manager. Phone screen went very well and was focused on engineering management philosophy. About a week later, I was brought in for lunch and a half-day of interviews. The interviews went well. The interviewers were all really welcoming and asked questions that were appropriate for the job. No trick questions, no riddles, no ringers. It was a great experience and I thoroughly enjoyed each person I met. They put me at ease. The interviewers were diverse (different races, different genders) which I appreciated. The following week, I received an offer. Offer negotiation took a few days, and then I accepted.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at X in Apr 2021
Interview
Had my first interview with the hiring manager. It was kinda nice to skip the initial HR call and go straight to the hiring manager.
I got a 50 minute overview of the position with no real talking on my side. I then was asked to rate myself in a few technical aspects on a scale of 1 to 10.
After this i was told that that if I passed this I would go to a technical interview.
Once i was done the interview i noticed the position got changed to a senior manager… then came the rejection.. It’s bad to change requirements and raise the position level after you already interviewed but i guess that’s how Twitter rolls
