In my whole career life, this is the saddest interview experience ever. I wish nobody will be treated like this: After 3 rounds of interviews in over two months, HR emailed me to say they were keen on progressing me to the final stage of the process! Great. However, when it came to arranging an actual time, they started delaying it. First I was told they'd like to give me more time to prepare as it is the last stage. I asked what should I prepare and what would be involved in last stage. Didn't get a reply for that, but I was told they were interviewing other candidates and wanted to schedule all last stage interviews together. Ok, so I waited. Another few weeks passed, they emailed me cancel the last stage interview and told me they've decided to go with another candidate! Wow, never heard of this kind of practice.
So I was deprived of the opportunity for a last stage interview after a super-long process. Asked for detailed feedback, but obviously they didn't bother with that. For a company that specialize in Human Resource, this is pretty low and disgusting. I still couldn't believe it...
I should specify that the role was for Peakon which is now part of Workday.
