The recruitment process went as follows;
1. application form and written exercise. - this was easy, most people should pass this.
2. Psychometric testing. - This is where most people will be tripped up. It can be quite intense.
3. Virtual interview. - They give you questions and job description before the interview. Practice makes perfect.
4. Longlisting. - If you pass the interview WorkSafe is given a list of potential recruits to be short listed.
5. Assessment centre. - this includes a group portion, a written portion, and a interview portion.
6. pre-employment checks. - if you pass the assessment center they will ask to contact your most recent previous manager, as well as ministry of justice checks.
The whole process is relatively difficult and takes a while. It was handled well, but be prepared for the long-haul.
